This training will cover federal, state and local fair housing laws as well a changes to the state rent laws that drastically change the rental application process. Topics will include: application fees, disclosing landlord-tenant history, broker fees, emotional support and service animals, moving with a program or voucher, and tips for those helping clients move out of shelter during Covid 19.
NOTE: While those in shelter are still moving into rental apartments, tenants already in housing should stay in place during Covid 19.
