The Safe Harbor Act – landlords can file a nonpayment petition against tenants but cannot evict the tenant if they were financially affected by COVID
The eviction moratorium for NYC Residential and Commercial tenants was extended until August 20.
The housing courts are not accepting new eviction cases. Tenants with emergency situations can file illegal lock out cases and emergency HP Actions.
