Hardship Declaration can pause evictions until January 15th, 2022

Court cases are currently being scheduled. Tenants can be protected against eviction until January 15th, 2022 by submitting a hardship declaration.

You can get the declaration here.
if you need other languages, find them here.

You will need to email them to the court at these addresses …. And mail one to your landlord.

Email your hardship declaration to your borough housing court:

Bronx: BronxHardshipDeclaration@nycourts.gov
Brooklyn: KingsHardshipDeclaration@nycourts.gov
Manhattan: NewYorkHardshipDeclaration@nycourts.gov
Queens: QueensHardshipDeclaration@nycourts.gov
Staten Island: RichmondHardshipDeclaration@nycourts.gov

Also, mail a copy to your landlord to block them from filing a court case.
