This training is an overview of basic tenants rights in supportive housing, as well as the different forms of supportive housing (licensed vs unlicensed, scattered site, congregate, etc.) The training includes:

• definition of supportive housing
• short history of supportive housing
• accessing supportive housing (process and barriers)
• different types of supportive housing and relevant regulations
• lease structures in supportive housing
• rights of supportive housing tenants (including HSTPA part J amendments)
• challenges in enforcing those rights
• importance of organizing in supportive housing
